Anna Loveys has been involved with music in some form or another since she arrived in the world. From learning bass guitar as a kid, to playing in garage bands throughout high school, to covering music as a student journalist and Music Editor for Craccum Magazine through her University years.
Her love of music and writing blended as she continued on as a freelance music writer for NZ Musician, Rip It Up and Graham Reid’s Elsewhere, before moving post-University into the discipline of PR and Publicity during her time at The Label.
Anna runs Auckland-based PR, publicity and marketing company Saint Lachine, which passionately promotes the work of Flying Nun Records, Flying Out, Black Lotus Records, Marigold Music, Tone Tonic, as well as a range of touring and independent kiwi artists.
As a publicist, she has worked across a range of campaigns for artists including Estere, Aldous Harding, Mermaidens, CHAII, Louis Baker, Elemeno P, Clap Clap Riot and more.
Anna is also a guest lecturer for the popular music studies course at her alma mater, The University of Auckland’s School of Music. She is incredibly passionate about learning, especially from her kaumatua in the industry.
