The MMF will be sending their bookings and touring guy, Wairere Iti down to Wellington and Christchurch in December to catch up with MMF Members about....well.... bookings and touring.

Monday 5th December - The Southern Cross - 39 Abel Smith Street, Te Aro, Wellington
Tuesday 6th December - The Dux - Lincoln Rd Addington, Christchurch

Wellington members who caught up with Wairere earlier this year will be able to go over their events since they last saw him and look at what worked and what can be improved as well as focussing on domestic touring.


Wairere Iti has been involved in New Zealand Music for over 20 years. As Co-founder of Auckland based booking agency Grafiti Entertainment he has represented: Batucada Sound Machine, Tahuna Breaks, Sons of Zion, Sweet and Irie, Scribe and Savage.

He has toured extensively throughout Europe, USA, Australia and New Zealand and currently works as a tour manager for Six60 and on occasion I am Giant, Maisey Rika and Tama Waipara. Wairere has considerable experience in domestic and International bookings, what programmers are looking for and what you can do to improve your chances of selection. He has great tips on Tour Managing and how to keep everyone sane while on the road.
