At this year's CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival, we laughed, we learned, we got kicked in the chest—and we're already gearing up to do it all over again in 2012.
CMJ Music Marathon & Film Festival has officially opened registration and artist submissions for next year's event, held October 16-20, 2012 in New York City. Register now through December 31, 2011 to purchase a general registration badge for 45% off of the regular rate. Student registrants with a valid student ID may purchase a $95 badge, a discount of more than 70% off of the regular rate.
Also available is CMJ ShowPass, which allows access to all CMJ Music Marathon showcases and Film Festival screenings, subject to venue capacity. The ShowPass is available in limited quantities for $149. All badge types are currently available for purchase here.
For you artists out there, CMJ has also opened artist applications for 2012's showcases, exclusively via Sonicbids. Find them here. An early-bird discount will be offered for submissions received by January 6, 2012. All submissions will close June 26, 2012.
