The band formerly known as Scene is up and moving to the UK.

Along with the change of postal address is the change of name from Scene to Dakota. "Lead vocalist Dave Gale is a big Stereophonics fan, so the name is in deference to one of the Phonics' biggest hit singles." explains band manager Jack Grabham.

They will be arranging a farewell show to New Zealand shores before they go but prior to that they have a couple more offerings for New Zealand:
Saturday December 3rd, Backbeat Bar show, DAKOTA with guest headliners NOVEMBER ZULU (Matt and Kimi Coleman) and opener FIRE AT WILL.
In December they will be releasing their latest single, DEVIL. This track was mixed and mastered by GREG HAVER in the UK and New York earlier this year, and we've been awaiting a good time to release it commercially. To tie in with the UK/Europe tour and relocation.
