Badd Energy (Cathew Neal) Tour & Ba-zing single

Badd Energy release “Ba-Zing” their second single from their upcoming second album Underwater Pyramids. They also announce seven gigs nationwide in February.

Once again this Badd Energy video is directed by Jason Howden, who hurtles the foursome through a video game vortex and some mean digital streets. Badd Energy are a psychedelic mix of guitars, drum machines and genres. Sam Moore, Coco Solid, Trixie Darko and J.Suave make up this trippy quartet that kick out motley jams blending stoner-swamp riffs with laid back 808 raps. Their single ‘Third Eye’ hit #1 on Bfm and Radio 1 in 2011.

'Ahoribuzz - Turnaround' Music Video Released

Thanks to NZ on Air and the selfless donation of time and talent from those in the film industry, AHoriBuzz’s first music video for second single, “Turnaround” has been produced.

Renowned for their captivating and idiosyncratic performances, AHoriBuzz is the brainchild of Aaron Tokona (Cairo Knife Fight / Weta) who steers the outfit on vocals, MPC and guitar.

Victoria Girling-Butcher (Lorraine Barry) New Release

It’s been four years since Victoria Girling-Butcher fronted Lucid3. On Nov. 21 she will release her solo album, ‘Summit Drive’, produced by Wayne Bell and Jol Mulholland.

An album launch show will be held at Backbeat Bar in Auckland on Nov. 25

Lucid3’s reign lasted 10 years, during which they recorded one EP and three critically heralded albums, with songs like AM Radio, West and Shiver marking their woozy, bluesy pop. They completed countless tours alongside a cross-section of artists, from Jimmy Cliff and UB40 to Dave Dobbyn, Brooke Frazer and James Blunt.
