The Music Manager Awards held in Auckland, celebrated and awarded the above managers as well as awarding a special 'Industry Champion' award to The NZ Music Commission.
'Manager of the Year' Lorraine Barry said “I am surrounded by artists and music I love, people who trust me implicitly with their careers – that makes it pretty motivating to come to my desk every day. Our industry is evolving and it’s reassuring to be able to share those challenges with a thriving collective of managers via the MMF."
Prizes were kindly given to the winners by the following music industry companies – Juice TV, Satellite Media, Groove Guide, Jansen Audio, BFM, Radio Active, RDU, Radio One, The Rock Factory, and Vodafone. Congratulations to all the winners.
On Sunday 28th October the NZ Music Managers Forum held its 4th Annual Music Managers awards. Thanks to the kind generosity of Vodafone, BFM, Rip It Up, Juice TV, Groove Guide and Jansen Audio, the winners were the recipients of some fantastic prize packs made up of airtime; free press, radio, internet or TV advertisements; audio equipment vouchers and magazine subscriptions
