Independent Music New Zealand (IMNZ) is excited to announce the highly anticipated return of the annual GOING GLOBAL MUSIC SUMMIT. A two-day boutique conference taking place once again at the renowned Roundhead Studios in Auckland.

There’s a new player on the Hawke’s Bay music scene – one that brings together musicians, promoters, venues and music lovers. In a first for the region, a new online resource, www.hbmusichub.co.nz  has been created.

Two of pop’s most enigmatic acts are coming together to double headline a one-off show in Auckland this July.  So Below and Theia will perform back-to-back sets at Auckland’s iconic Whammy Bar on K Road on Thursday, July 25.

Paper Cranes are ready to open up their lounge with a special performance at the Incubator in Tauranga.  This will be a special piano-based concert. Join the band in a homely setting to get a glimpse into how Paper Cranes new songs were written. Featuring songs off their recent album ‘Voices’ and including songs off 'The Road Home' and a lot of their back catalogue, this will be an one-off, intimate show.

Aro have released their Official Music Video for the final track off their debut album Manu, Tauhou. Tauhou is the Māori name for the silvereye, the melody if this bird is in the refrain of the song 'kei konei au, kei konei ahau' (I am here, I am here).
