YAHYAH is back for 2023 with her self-empowering track ‘GO’. Co-written with producer Dan Martin (Ka Hao, Rob Ruha) and Gabe Everett (Foley), ‘GO’ is about taking back the power you've given someone and calling them out on all the games they've played.
"The song journeys through all the emotions of giving someone up. I find this so difficult! Liking someone, catching a vibe then not being treated correctly so having to cut yourself off from them for your own mental health and sanity. Not an easy thing to do but definitely the right thing to do to protect yourself," YAHYAH explains.
The track’s high-energy is brought to life in the accompanying music video. Directed by Zac Emerson (La Women), the pair worked together with their wider creative team to produce the 90s inspired visual for the track.
