Rachel Turney is Co-Director of Homegrown Events, the company that runs the annual Jim Beam Homegrown NZ Music Festival which is now in its 12th year attracting over 23,000 attendees, with 45 bands and DJ’s performing across 5 stages on the Wellington waterfront. Rachel is the Artist Manager dealing with all areas of backstage management and is responsible for many facets of the business throughout the year. She has been involved in Event Management for 18 years, previously working on the Vodafone X-Air Extreme Sports event and the Coromandel Gold New Years Eve festival in Whitianga for 5 years and is passionate about NZ music and live gigs.
