Music Producer/Songwriter
Noema Te Hau III (Ngāti Porou / Rongomaiwahine) is an award-winning producer, songwriter, and music industry mentor based in Auckland, New Zealand. He is known for his ability to work closely with artists as both a creative collaborator and strategic lead, often operating as a musical partner, executive producer, and project manager across entire releases.
He is a former lecturer at the Music and Audio Institute of New Zealand (MAINZ) and previously served as Studio & Venue Production Manager at BIG FAN, one of Aotearoa’s leading all-ages music facilities. Alongside his industry work, he actively supports emerging talent through initiatives such as Rockquest, Tangata Beats, and Play It Strange, while also bringing experience from sessions with internationally recognised artists, songwriters, and producers back into his work across the New Zealand music landscape.
His work includes collaborations with artists such as Troy Kingi, Anna Coddington, Paige, MOHI, Triggar Happy, and Greta Van Den Brink, alongside a wide range of emerging talent. As a songwriter, Noema has been recognised with multiple honours, including the 2024 APRA Silver Scroll Award and 2023 APRA Maioha Award, while as a producer, he has also delivered chart-performing projects including Aotearoa Songbook by Te Tira Waiata o Te Pukawai and LOVE LOYALTY RESPECT by Triggar Happy, both ranking among the Top 10 Aotearoa Albums of for the entirety of 2025.
