Wellington-based engineer and producer James Goldsmith has carved a career out of mixing, engineering and producing some of New Zealand’s most exciting and successful alternative artists. A renowned live engineer, Goldsmith has spent years touring both nationally and internationally with Tom Scott, Beastwars, Die! Die! Die!, Nadia Reid, Aldous Harding, The Veils, Avantdale Bowling Club, Broods, Earth Tongue, Deva Mahal and many more. As an engineer and producer he’s helmed records across multiple genres. Many albums that James has worked on have charted highly on the Official Aotearoa Music Charts (including multiple number 1 placements). Additionally, albums that James has worked on have been nominated for the prestigious Taite Music Prize and Aotearoa Music Awards.

Originally from Christchurch, Jaz now lives in Auckland and runs event and site management company Site Resources, alongside event and gear hire company All Things Live. Since the start of her career Jaz has been busy wearing many hats including music manager, booking agent, tour manager, site manager and event producer. Event production and site delivery is the majority of her work today, delivering events across New Zealand including the first live music event in Eden Park’s 113 year history to 50,000 happy Six60 fans.

Lucy Macrae

Lucy Macrae has held multiple roles in Tāmaki Makaurau’s music scene for over two decades. She is the owner and booker of the iconic music venues Whammy Bar, Double Whammy and Whammy Public Bar. Alongside her sister, she runs the punk promotion company Chicks That Scream- promoting and touring international artists throughout New Zealand. As a musician, she plays bass in the local punk band Dick Move. Lucy is also the Promotions and Publicity Manager at The Label, where she amplifies the voices of artists and festivals, helping them connect with wider audiences. Most recently, Lucy was appointed Chair of Independent Music Venues Aotearoa, where she leads advocacy efforts to support and sustain independent venues across Aotearoa.
