Featuring restless electric guitars and punchy mandolin over a driving rhythm section, Graeme James’ brand new track ’The Difference’ showcases his trademark layering and foot stomping energy. Impassioned lyrics and rousing fiddle add to the wistful nature of this atmospheric folk epic.
The Differenc is Graeme’s first release since signing to indie record label, Nettwerk in May. An exciting step for the long time independent artist, who made his name busking to crowds on the streets of New Zealand and tirelessly touring the country.

As well as this ews From Nowher achieved a number three position on the NZ Album chart and was a finalist in the 2017 Vodafone Music Awards for NZ Folk Album of the Year.
Graeme James has built a large and loyal fan base with his captivating live shows and unique folk style, performing with the aid of a loop pedal to layer electric violin, guitar, bass, baritone ukulele, mandolin, harmonica, percussion, and beatboxing in his one-man-band sound.
