KIWI BAND ‘TUNES OF I’ TO SUPPORT TASH SULTANA

Tash Sultana is excited to announce Tunes of I as the opening act for their November 22 show at Auckland’s Spark Arena.

The rootsy dub rock six-piece from Wellington are fresh off a string of nationwide shows to promote their latest single Dangerous.

Born out of the New Zealand School of Music, the classically trained artists opened for the Red Hot Chili Peppers at their Auckland show earlier in the year, as well as supporting Ocean Alley in a nationwide tour back in April. Tunes of I have performed at many of NZ’s top festivals including Rhythm & Vines, Homegrown and Soundsplash.

Tash Sultana returns to New Zealand with the ‘Flow State World Tour'. Established as a live favourite with New Zealand audiences after a sold-out 2018 tour and festival sets over the past twelve months, Tash’s all ages headline show at Spark Arena is their biggest NZ show yet.

The one person powerhouse is an explosive live artist who has commanded global attention since their homemade videos went viral. Started out playing open mic nights on a fake ID and busking on the streets of Melbourne, Tash is selling out every headline show, from theatres to arenas across multiple countries and playing dozens of high-profile festivals around the globe. Recent accolades include reaching over 500M streams online, an ARIA award for Blues and Roots Album of The Year with ‘Flow State’ and the smash single ‘Jungle’ coming in at #3 in triple j’s Hottest 100. Tash’s new single ‘Can’t Buy Happiness’ and album ‘Flow State’ is out now.

Tickets for the all-ages show are selling fast from Ticketmaster.
