EDYONTHEBEAT - Love My Lonely (with Dinah Jane)

The eighth single from EDYONTHEBEAT's sophomore album 'im just a producer'

After opening Disney's Moana: Voices Across the Ocean alongside Stan Walker, former Fifth Harmony star Dinah Jane joins Tāmaki Makaurau producer EDYONTHEBEAT on "Love My Lonely", the eighth single from his second album im just a producer, out 27 November 2026.

It is the album's marquee pairing: a platinum-selling, Tongan-American pop voice, first heard by millions as a founding member of Fifth Harmony, stepping onto a record built in Aotearoa.

About the track

"Love My Lonely" is a sleek R&B and pop crossover, driven by modern, upbeat drums and stacked with layered harmonies. It carries a modern Mariah Carey tone at an energetic tempo, built for radio and the car stereo in equal measure. Lyrically it turns being alone into something to celebrate: a song about self-love, embracing solitude and owning your independence. Sitting at track two on the album, it is the record where im just a producer opens up into full mainstream territory.

"It feels like a 360 full circle moment, growing up listening to Fifth Harmony and Dinah's music as a kid. I feel blessed to have been given the opportunity to make music with her.”

Dinah Jane

Born Dinah Jane Hansen, Dinah Jane is an American singer of Tongan, Samoan, Fijian and Danish descent, from Santa Ana, California. She rose to global fame as a founding member of Fifth Harmony, formed on The X Factor US in 2012, with three top-five Billboard 200 albums and worldwide hits including "Work from Home" and "Worth It", each now past a billion Spotify streams.

Now independent, she has spent her solo era reclaiming the Pacific identity she was once encouraged to tuck away. Her 2024 EP Juice County, Vol. 1, named for the Tongan and Sāmoan community of Orange County, was covered by Rolling Stone and described as a love letter to Pacific women. In 2026 she performed "America the Beautiful" at the Daytona 500, and in July she opened Disney's Moana: Voices Across the Ocean, an album of 25 Pacific artists executive produced by Dwayne Johnson. Her duet with Stan Walker on "We Know the Way" is sung across te reo Māori, Tongan, Tokelauan and Samoan, and she also contributes the solo track "Strength of a Woman". The project brought her to Aotearoa earlier this year.

In August 2025 she reunited on stage with Fifth Harmony for the first time in seven years, as surprise guests on the Jonas Brothers' tour in Dallas.

EDYONTHEBEAT is the production alias of Edward Liu, an Auckland-based producer, mix engineer and content creator with 170M+ global streams and close to 500 credits across his portfolio. He won Best Producer at the 2025 Pacific Music Awards (shared with Astro and Sam V), and his viral studio livestreams have drawn interactions from Timbaland, Charlie Puth, Ty Dolla $ign, Kehlani, Jessie Reyez, Tone Stith and Mac Ayres.
