TUSEKAH - TIME FOR YOU
'Time For You' is the title song off of Tusekah's debut EP. The EP is a story about love and loss. The EP hears Tusekah sonically lean into her RnB influences more than ever. 'Time For You' starts off with 'Time For You' which is a positive and groovy love song which takes influences from 2000s RnB. The love that Tusekah talks about in this small body of work isn't necessarily about romantic love. We see this especially in the song 'Unprepared' which talks about the unexpected falling apart of a relationship. In friendships especially you don't expect that at some point someone isn't going to be in your life. The song talks about trying to grapple with that. The song also takes sonic influences from 2000s RnB. The EP finishes with a ballad 'Will I Ever' which discusses the emotional difficulty one can face when a relationship has fallen apart in regards to not knowing if there will be a time where you are not grieving the lost relationship or missing the person who used to be in your life.
