26-Year-Old NZ Rapper "Vic Vega" Releases New Rap Album “VHS” Before 2026 Ends.

Vic Vega is a 26-year-old Māori autistic rapper born and raised in Papakura, New Zealand. Vic Vega has been rapping since he was 8 years old and has evolved through the years. Vic has been making his own rap beats and writes his own lyrical material at a very young age.

Vic Vega has gained quite a cult following on Instagram, YouTube and TikTok for his rapping and vlogging everyday life videos. Over the past months, he quickly became entangled in controversy, targeted by social media content creators for his online rapping and vlogging videos from TikTok and Instagram. Vic is now moving forward.

His main genre for his new rap album “VHS” is inspired by g-funk, inspired by the likes of Dr. Dre’s production from the early 90’s. “VHS” is a follow-up to his early 2026 double album “The Autobiography of Lennox Kirikau-Dennis” back on February 2nd 2026.

“VHS" is inspired by his childhood memories, watching movies/tv shows and homemade videos from the 2000’s era. This captures the nostalgic memories of his childhood years and Vic has always been so passionate about making cohesive album projects throughout his independent rap career. Most of the album’s beats are all produced by Vic Vega himself.

Vic Vega's album "VHS" is confirmed for release it on November 6th, 2026 on Spotify and all streaming platforms.
