The Music Managers Forum Aotearoa are pleased to offer their members this recording of their February Online Seminar with Music Manager Pippa Ryan-Kidd (Tami Neilson, Delaney Davidson) and Music Publicist Leanda Borrett (Eleventy12).

Pippa shares her expertise in artist management, while Leanda provides insights into effective public relations and media coverage.

Leanda Borrett has worked in various content, broadcast and marketing roles over her 30 year career in the music industry. Starting her career in music television, Leanda has programmed music and produced content for some of New Zealand's best loved music channels. There she discovered her drive to support and promote the growth of emerging and established artists. After 13 years of working in television, Leanda made the transition to marketing, working in publicity roles at EMI NZ, Roadshow Films NZ and Whakaata Māori. Starting in 2016, Leanda has provided freelance publicity, communications and marketing support under the banner of Eleventy12. Projects include release and tour campaigns for Ed Waaka, Georgia Lines, Lou’ana, Shapeshifter and The Upbeats. Leanda is currently the Marketing and Publicity Manager for AudioCulture and NZ On Screen.

Pippa Ryan-Kidd has 30 years of working both internationally and locally in Artist Management, music distribution, retail and publicity. She has worked with local and international artists on album releases and tours, and is currently Chairperson of IMNZ and Manager of Tami Neilson and Delaney Davidson. She also looks after Jenny Mitchell in regards to Management Services and Project Management/Publicity for Troy Kingi and Kylie Price. Pippa can talk on Artist Management and/or Project Planning, Album cycle planning, Development and Distribution of physical product, preparing an album release for digital distribution, Publicity and Marketing and supporting a release with live music.
