CRAIG PEARCE
Craig Pearce is currently an artist manager for a diverse roster of Aotearoa artists, including The Black Seeds, The Phoenix Foundation, Reb Fountain, and Moniker. Over the years, he has also helped develop artists such as Lord Echo, Lawrence Arabia, Connan Mockasin, and Sola Rosa.
In addition to his role as artist manager, Craig also currently works as:
• Stage management at Homegrown
• Booking agent for various artists
• Label and royalties manager for artists’ companies
• Tour manager for domestic and international tours
• Acting CEO, CFO, and COO for artists’ companies
These varied roles have given Craig deep insights into both the creative and business sides of the industry. He is passionate about supporting the long term success of the artists he manages and ensuring their well being in a constantly evolving music landscape.
Craig’s career spans nearly 20 years, during which time he has worked across multiple facets of the music industry. He has facilitated over 50 artist releases, acting as the label and coordinating global teams to manage royalties. He has also worked extensively in live music, supporting artists at major festivals such as Glastonbury, Splendour In The Grass, and Roskilde, and has toured across Europe, the US, Canada, the Pacific, Australia, and Aotearoa.
Additionally, Craig has:
• Served as a board member of Independent Music New Zealand (IMNZ)
• Provided high level mentorship to emerging and established artists
• Lectured at Massey University, contributing to the Degree in Music (Industry Major) programme
He has witnessed the industry evolve with digital streaming, touring challenges, and cultural shifts, and continues to adapt to ensure that his artists succeed over the long term.
