Raw, bass-heavy, and thick with tension and release, FLY captures the untamed energy of gannets in flight and the thick force of a gathering storm.
Driven by pulsing low frequencies and layered percussion, FLY embodies the freedom and turbulence of the natural world. Adlam’s evocative vocals rise through waves of sound, carrying strength and drive - a call to movement, to surrender, to flight.
FLY is about embracing the elements - the power of wind and weather, the instinct to rise and let go. It’s music that bridges worlds - between bass culture and the raw pulse of the environment.
FLY is available on all major streaming platforms from 14 November, via DRMNZ

Marmalade share live version of debut EP ‘Sober’
Marmalade are stoked to be sharing the version of their debut EP ‘Sober’ recorded on national NZ radio station RNZ in 2024. ‘Sober’ captures a state of mind. It’s a slap-in-the-face realisation, a kindhearted reminder from a close friend, a sharp look in the mirror, a groggy morning after, a first sip of coffee.

‘Sober’ captures a state of mind. It’s a slap-in-the-face realisation, a kindhearted reminder from a close friend, a sharp look in the mirror, a groggy morning after, a first sip of coffee.
The live version of ‘Sober’ includes all five original tracks and also a bonus track cover of ‘Dreams’ by Fleetwood Mac after much request from fans and radio listeners. Jemilah elaborates “It was sweet to hear how much people loved the live version of these songs live when we played them on air so we thought why not release them! We felt there was also something special to releasing this version a year after the original EP too”
Marmalade have recently set foot again on home soil after spending time writing, recording and playing shows in Australia in Europe as a duo. With some of their favourite shows in Newcastle, Sydney, Amsterdam, Barcelona, Berlin and Munich, Jemilah and Koen are gunning to get back over the ditch to play more shows in the future.
Currently working on their sophomore EP, due to release 2026, it’s an exciting time for Marmalade to be building towards a summer of shows alongside fresh releases in the new year.
All performances and recordings were carried out by Jemilah Ross-Hayes (Lead Vocals, Acoustic Guitar), Koen Aldershof (Lead Vocals, Rhythm Guitar), Doug Bagg (Drums), Lachlan Carr (Lead Guitar), and Bethany Britten (Bass).
All tracks recorded by Andre Upston from RNZ and mixed and mastered by Marmalade’s very own Koen Aldershof.
With new music on the way, a slot on a handful of summer festivals including the Taranaki Festival of Lights, Titirangi Music Festival and support slots for Mima Wilde and Pool House to wrap up the year, Marmalade are bound to make your winter cosy, and summer even sunnier.
LEGENDARY PRODUCER SOLA ROSA TEAMS UP WITH IVA LAMKUM FOR NEW SINGLE ‘JUPITER’
Andrew Spraggon, better known as Sola Rosa, has returned with the first teaser for his upcoming eighth studio album, set for release in early 2026. The first cut is titled ‘Jupiter’; a confident statement of intent — with a shuffling rhythm, gleaming synths and the effortless cool of long-time collaborator Iva Lamkum.
Andrew Spraggon, better known as Sola Rosa, has returned with the first teaser for his upcoming eighth studio album, set for release in early 2026. The first cut is titled‘Jupiter’; a confident statement of intent — with a shuffling rhythm, gleaming synths and the effortless cool of long-time collaborator Iva Lamkum.
‘Jupiter’ finds Sola Rosa stepping into a slick new orbit. There’s a nod to the glossy funk of Oliver and the hazy shimmer of Tame Impala, but Jupiter stands firmly in its own lane; polished, propulsive and full of that rare quality: genuine uplift without the clichés. Spraggon’s production feels spacious and assured, the kind that rewards both a packed dancefloor and a solo drive with the windows down. Jupiter is a reminder that confidence isn’t always loud; sometimes it’s just knowing exactly what you’re doing, and trusting your own rhythm.’
“This track started like most of my songs, with a sample flip. I chopped up some chords from a Splice loop, layered them up, and initially aimed for a 120 BPM four-on-the-floor beat. But it naturally evolved into more of a shuffling groove.. still funky, just with a looser, rolling feel.
Around that time, I was listening to a lot of Tame Impala, so maybe a bit of that sound slipped in subconsciously. I’m often influenced by whatever I’ve got on rotation, but never with the intention of copying, more just letting it filter through naturally. The track probably sits somewhere between Oliver’s futuristic funk and that hazy, melodic vibe of modern psych-pop. - Sola Rosa
As expected, the personnel on ‘Jupiter’ is an all star cast, with Simon Gooding (Pink, TEEKS, Neil Finn, Dua Lipa, Ladi6, Fazerdaze, Balu Brigada) mixing the track, as well as additional guitar/bass work from Yoka-Zuna’s Kenji Iwamitsu-Holdaway (who has also worked with CHAII & SIX60 in the past). ‘Jupiter’ also features the return of Iva Lamkum’s vocals to Sola Rosa’s expansive beats - a partnership that was last seen around 15 years ago on the hit ‘Turn Around’.
“I wrote all the music, then Kenji added his trademark bass pops and atmospheric guitar textures. It had been over ten years since I worked with Iva Lamkum on Turn Around (a bit of an underground hit in 2009). We reconnected online, I sent her a few beats, and she came back with the idea for Jupiter. When I was in Melbourne for some In The Mids session work, we met up - mostly catching up, but by the end of the day the song was done. I wrapped up the production back home and sent it to Simon Gooding for mixing.”
SOLA ROSA
Commenting on her approach to the track lyrically, Lamkum describes ‘Jupiter’ as “a strong, confident track with real “I’m in my era” energy. It’s about celebrating yourself, whether you’re already feeling it or need a little lift. The lyrics are empowering and self-assured, striking a balance between sleek sophistication and fun, night-out energy.”
Sola Rosa has proven himself time and time again as one of New Zealand's most inventive musical exports, over a career that now spans two decades. Since winning the Best Electronic Release award for his debut album Solarized at the 2001 New Zealand Music Awards, Spraggon has gone on to play stages at Secret Garden Party (UK), Green Man (UK), Shambala (UK), Kendall Calling (UK), Nostock (UK), Womad (NZ), Big Day Out (NZ), Splore (NZ) and many others. His unique blend of R&B, Funk, Jazz, Hip-hop and Pop has earned a global following, attracting top-tier collaborators such as Tall Black Guy, Hermitude and DJ Vadim and racking up over 65 million combined DSP streams across his catalogue in the process
CAITLIN | “Outline”
Aotearoa singer-songwriter CAITLIN returns with “Outline”, a cathartic and intimate exploration of self-alignment, finding glimpses of clarity amongst heartache, and choosing life-reorienting change.
Haunting indie-folk single “Outline” captures the quiet courage of surrender and self-alignment.
Aotearoa singer-songwriter CAITLIN returns with “Outline”, a cathartic and intimate exploration of self-alignment, finding glimpses of clarity amongst heartache, and choosing life-reorienting change.
Blending organic textures and emotive instrumentation with a grounding rhythm,”Outline” moves through the trenches of emotional transformation. Heavy yet propulsive; vulnerable yet resolute. The song sits in the alternative indie-folk realm, carving out a space that is entirely CAITLIN’s own, with nods to the emotional depth of artist like Sufjan Stevens and Bon Iver.
As the first track she has executive produced, “Outline” marks a new chapter of creative direction for CAITLIN. Produced and engineered largely in her bedroom, CAITLIN worked with Will McGillivray (co-production and mixing) to bring the song’s world to life.
“Writing this song was a reminder that sometimes your body knows before your head does. I was writing about things I couldn’t quite admit to myself yet.”
Lyrically, one of the songs key metaphors is found in the line “You’re a fruitful vine, killing the hedge, and love won’t make a difference here”. CAITLIN alludes to a banana passionfruit vine that grew atop a hedge at her childhood home in Timaru, New Zealand. The vine grew beautiful, delicious fruit that she enjoyed but it was slowly overtaking the hedge and had to eventually be pulled down. The lyric reflects how beautiful things sometimes come at a greater cost and you can’t keep “cutting the hedge back” forever.
Following August’s “Wash”, “Outline” deepens CAITLIN’s reputation as one of Aotearoa’s most emotionally articulate emerging writers. Her upcoming body of work continues to trace themes of transformation, self-discovery, and becoming, setting the stage for an exciting chapter ahead.
“Outline” is available to stream and purchase on all platforms from 7th November 2025, leading into a forthcoming EP in 2026.
Catch CAITLIN live on the main stage at Electric Avenue 2026.

Lepani releases explosive alt-pop single, co-written and co-produced with London-based writers/producers, capturing the dissonance between chasing your dreams and reality.
UK-based alt-pop artist Lepani’s newest single “Never Meet Your Dreams” (releasing 7th November) is a cinematic exploration of ambition and identity - capturing the bittersweet moment of reaching the dream you’ve chased your whole life — only to discover it isn’t what you imagined.

Originally from Fiji, grown up in New Zealand and now based in Manchester UK, Lepani is carving out a sound that fuses heartfelt storytelling with cinematic, emotionally charged production. Jack Moser wrote ‘All the Lonely People’ "when I felt completely unseen. This one’s for anyone still waiting to be chosen, loved, or understood.”
Inside one of Aotearoa’s largest and most iconic venues, Eden Park, 22-year old pianist and singer songwriter Jack Moser sits alone with an upright piano, turning what is normally a loud and exuberant stadium into a solo stage of raw emotion, honesty, and hope.
Inside one of Aotearoa’s largest and most iconic venues, Eden Park, 22-year old pianist and singer songwriter Jack Moser sits alone with an upright piano, turning what is normally a loud and exuberant stadium into a solo stage of raw emotion, honesty, and hope.
His self-funded video trilogy - now live - features powerful solo performances of Coldplay’s “Clocks”, ABBA’s “The Winner Takes It All”, and his original single “All the Lonely People”. Filmed in a stadium booked entirely for one, the series captures a rare stillness as a lone musician shares his truth.
“I wrote ‘All the Lonely People’ during a time when I felt completely unseen,” says Jack. “It’s for anyone who’s ever felt like they were still waiting to be chosen, loved, or understood.”
The cinematic trilogy reflects themes of solitude, resilience, and emotional vulnerability, amplified by the grandeur of a stadium built for thousands, now focused on a single performance.
Jack’s emotional journey led him to therapy, where he began learning to understand himself. “Realising I was dealing with anxiety changed everything. For the longest time I was just experiencing it, without knowing what it was. Therapy helped me tremendously.
"For a long time, I just went through it without knowing what it was. Therapy helped me a lot. If you’re struggling, find someone you trust to hold that space for you. Opening up isn’t always easy, especially when you don’t feel seen or heard—but there are some incredible people who can truly support you."
The project was made possible through a unique creative partnership with Eden Park. After discovering Jack busking, CEO Nick Sautner opened the stadium to him, allowing him access to one of Aotearoa’s most iconic venues. This rare opportunity enabled Jack to bring his vision to life, and he wanted to use that space for something real.
“Eden Park has always been a stage for New Zealand’s biggest moments, but it is also a blank canvas for creativity, where artists like Jack can bring their vision to life. His music transforms the space, creating moments that are both powerful and memorable. Naming him our first Musician in Residence celebrates his talent and demonstrates how Eden Park can support creativity, connection, and storytelling in new and exciting ways. We’re proud to provide a platform where artists can explore their craft and share it with the world.”
After facing anxiety, depression and seeking therapy,
Jack now shares his experience openly, hoping to break stigma and connect through music.
The videos were brought to life by a talented team of creatives, including /producer/director Kermath (Cuetone Media), DOP Joe Curtis, co-producer Heather, and a passionate crew whose combined experience spans from working with Taika Waititi to RuPaul's Drag Race Down Under.
Although Jack self-funded the project, the team rallied behind him, offering their services at over half their standard rate, moved by the message and belief in his vision. This project is a result of many people in New Zealand collaborating with Jack to help spread his message.
Now stepping boldly into the music scene, Jack Moser invites listeners to not only hear his music, but to feel seen in it.
