Huia Hamon's new te reo Māori video for her single 'Kanikani' has just been released as a lead up to Matariki celebrations.

The energetic, upbeat and high energy single 'This Is War' tells the story of a friendship gone sour. The terrifying and uncertain experience of cutting someone from your life and what comes with that. Violin is at the centre of the song, as it often is for Albi & The Wolves, from the entry crescendo to an electrifying solo.

Following on from their first single, Mirror Man, in March of this year, the Levi Lights On Project are set to release their follow up single, Eyes Of A Child on 28 June 2019.

New Zealand’s indie sludge-pop rockers Soaked Oats are on a high. After a massively successful summer tour of Australia and New Zealand and, having just returned from their UK tour,  the band released today their much-anticipated EP Sludge Pop - both digitally and on limited edition 10″ multi-coloured vinyl via Dot Dash / Rhythmethod, as well as revealing their most ambitious music video to date for release-day focus track, 'Don't Chew'.

With the release of their 2016 debut album 'Bruises' receiving rave reviews The Solomon Cole Band have gathered a blues rock'n'roll momentum. These days however, the quartet are intent on creating a more blues-based sound that pivots on the songwriting partnership of French/Kiwi vocalist Ely Xir and Solomon Cole. The duo themselves are doing some one off select dates in France in July/August 2019 to test out songs and material.
